"Henrik Zetterberg," Cleary said this morning, after an informal skate at Troy Sports Center.
That has been the widespread assumption ever since Nicklas Lidstrom retired in May. Zetterberg is a lifetime Wing, has been an alternate captain for several years and has been groomed for the spot, really, since Steve Yzerman stepped away in 2006.
