The Magic and Hornets may be interested in bringing in Allen Iverson for a workout, Sam Amico tweets.

RotoTimes.com: If Tracy McGrady can find a job, certainly Iverson can too, right?

Allen Iverson is working on a comeback with the intent to play next season, according to ESPN.com. "Allen is working out and he's getting himself prepared to make his return," Iverson's personal manager Gary Moore said on Friday. "He absolutely will try and play next year."

RotoTimes.com: Iverson has gone through a number of issues the past few seasons that have included his trading from the Nuggets, his failure to click with the Pistons, his retirement shortly after signing with the Grizzlies and his foiled attempt at a comeback with the 76ers; he left the team to tend to his sick daughter, though gambling and alcohol issues may have also played a role. Iverson still has the talent to help an NBA team out, though he'd likely have to accept a role off the bench, and it's unclear if he'd be willing to do so.

Bobcats coach, and long-time Allen Iverson confidant, Larry Brown does not believe Iverson's playing days are finished, according to the Charlotte Observer.

RotoTimes.com: While Brown is one of the NBA's elder statesmen, it's hard not to disagree with his statement. Amidst a torrent of personal troubles, in recent months Iverson has petulantly forced his way off of a Grizzlies team that took a chance on him when no one else would and endured an injury-plagued, forgettable two months in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, it very much looks like his career could be at its sad conclusion.
