Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn tells ESPNNewYork.com that, "I see myself as having two starters." He also added that playing time "depends on the flow of the game. If we're better off in our big personnel, Shonn will get more touches. If we go little, like we did last year with Leon (Washington) in our nickel package, L.T. will get more touches. It's all situational."

RotoTimes.com: There's still a long way to go before this situation sorts itself out. Stay tuned.

Updating an earlier report, LaDainian Tomlinson's two-year deal with the Jets is worth $5.2MM, according to Rich Cimini's (New York Daily News) twitter page.

RotoTimes.com: It could be worth a maximum of $5.7MM, which is just a bit higher than Thomas Jones' deal with Kansas City. Tomlinson will compete with rising star Shonn Greene and sparkplug Leon Washington for playing time with New York in 2010.

Updating an earlier report, LaDainian Tomlinson has agreed to a deal with the Jets, according to Jay Glazer's twitter page. It is a two-year contract.

RotoTimes.com: Tomlinson will provide veteran depth at running back after Thomas Jones departed for Kansas City, but his best days seem to be behind him, as he averaged just 3.3 yards per carry with San Diego in 2009. He has had durability issues as of late too. The Vikings will have to continue their search for a No. 2 running back behind stud Adrian Peterson.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, LaDainian Tomlinson will soon sign with the New York Jets.

RotoTimes.com: That's according to "three people with knowledge of the process." Expect official word to come some time Sunday afternoon.

LaDainian Tomlinson stayed overnight in the New York City area on Friday night, fueling speculation that he may soon be signing with the Jets, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

RotoTimes.com: L.T. could certainly expect more touches in New York than Minnesota, so signing with Gang Green makes a lot of sense on paper. A resolution to his job search could come as early as today, so stay tuned.
