The Associated Press reports that Leon Washington (fractured leg) will be available for the start of training camp.

RotoTimes.com: Good news for potential owners and Seahawks fans as Washington is ahead of schedule in his rehab. He'll likely be limited to start, but at least he won't be on the PUP list. It looks like he'll be Seattle's return man and will push Justin Forsett for some time at running back as well.

According to seahawks.com, Leon Washington has been testing his surgically repaired leg for the last two weeks.

RotoTimes.com: Washington has surgery to repair a compound leg fracture, but has been cutting on it in practice and claims that he feels great. He's likely not 100 percent yet, but there's a good chance that he will be by the start of training camp.

Leon Washington (recovery from broken leg) might not be 100 percent healthy by the beginning of training camp, according to the Associated Press.

RotoTimes.com: Not what the Seahawks wanted to hear, but not necessarily something they shouldn't have expected. There is still a while to go until training camp, however, so his status could very much change for the better. Stay tuned.

Seattle's medical staff is confident Leon Washington (broken leg) can be fully healed and at full strength by the start of the 2010 season, according to SI.com.

RotoTimes.com: The Seahawks added Washington and LenDale White to a backfield that already has Julius Jones and Justin Forsett. Jones appears headed out the door, though the Seahawks will probably hang onto Forsett, who's a similar-type back as Washington. That could limit Washington's touches, though he still has the potential to be a dynamic playmaker.

The Jets have traded Leon Washington to Seattle for a fifth-round pick (No. 139) and a seventh-round pick (No. 236), according to the Seattle Times.

RotoTimes.com: The Jets' dealing of Washington shouldn't come as much of a surprise after they took Joe McKnight, a similar-typed back, in the fourth round. Washington's arrival to Seattle further shakes up the team's backfield, as they acquired LenDale White earlier today, and you have to wonder what this means for the futures of Julius Jones and Justin Forsett. Washington is still recovering from a broken leg last season but is expected to be fully recovered by the preseason.
